Bitter Kola

Bitter Kola (Garcinia Kola) belongs to a family called Guittiferal, which is a local crop that grows majorly in the Western and Eastern States of Nigeria. Nigeria is one of the largest producers of Garcinia Kola in the world and it is usually harvested between March and November, although it can also be available for sale all year round from the excess harvest stockpiled in storage facilities.

Garcinia Kola is our leading product and we are one of the major exporters. We are currently planning to process the crop from its natural form to semi-finished products in order to add value to our export and reduce further processing time to the final finished product.

Our target market for this is Thailand, China, India, United States, Canada, United Kingdom and any other country where it is needed for pharmaceutical and beverage production. Minimum order is 1,000kg (1MT) to be transported by air freight in order to preserve its colour.
